L. 18.2 cms. W. 2.5 cms approx.Pair of drop earrings with openwork flower head link and oblong millifiori glass surmount mounted in gold. L. 4.7 cms. One of three identical sets of jewellery brought back from Italy by Sir William, presumably for his three sisters. They are made from polished fragments of ancient Roman mosaic glass.
