Object
Quin sauce label
Description
Oblong, rounded, Gadroon edges. Quin: probably referring to sauce invented by the Irish actor, James Quin, of whom a Derby figure (P352) is in the collection. Probably part of set with "Harvey" and "Soy" for a three bottle soy frame. Quin was a fish sauce based on port wine, walnut pickle, anchovies, mushroom, ketchup, shallots, soy and cayenne believed to be named after the famous actor James Quin. A fairly rare title for a label.
