Seal-top spoon Thomas Hooper (active 1631–40) Silver, later-gilded, Salisbury, about 1635 S264 Sir William arranged his extensive collection of early spoons in three circular shields with medals in their centres. These were among the objects he lent to the National Exhibition in Leeds in 1868.
