- Teapot and Cover, English, Worcester, c. 1765. Soft-paste porcelain decorated with transfer-printed pastoral scenes in black.The teapot of oviform shape with curved octagonal spout and loop handle; slightly convex cover with moulded and applied flower stalk and applied flower knob; the pot printed in black overglaze with river scenes and, on one side, a woman fishing, a man with uplifted fishing net and a man with a fish tub, on the other, a shepherd with a crook and a man sitting on a river bank, the cover with printed scene of a windmill and ruins. 04/06/2024: Teapot.
