He holds a paper between the fingers of both hands.Daniel O'Connell, called the liberator, spent many years in agitation aimed at redressing Irish grievances. In his hands the system of constitutional mass meetings to effect reform attained a considerable degree of success. He played a leading part in the recreation of national feeling in Ireland.The silhouette is a good example of Edouart's work.Unframed.
