Roman Provincial silver coin
Description
Probably a silver Tetradrachm of the Emperor Carinus (283 - 285). It was minted in Alexandria and was probably minted in his 2nd year of reign. Obverse: AKMA KAPINOC CEB - Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Carinus Augustus with the laureated bust of Carinus. Reverse: Elpis advancing left, holding flower and raising skirt. LB - of year 2
