One of a pair of armchairs, mahogany, 1930's in late 18th century style, shaped cresting rails with open carved splats decorated with gadrooned uprights, horizontal gadrooned tablets with paterae, curved arms, shaped aprons to front seat rail, square section gadrroned and tapered legs. Probably made in the 1930's for the furnishing of Ernest E. Cook's house at Sion Hill Place, Bath.
