- A bronze statuette of a shepherd boy in jacket and breeches, round hat with broad brim. belt and round bottle tied to his waist, seated on a tree stump, a branch of which grows up on the left to support one arm of the figure,,a lamb lying down beside the figure and leaning against his right shin, the lamb's head facing outwards, on an irregular oval base, the shepherd's right arm against his side, right hand holding the lower end of stick which is held across his chest, the right arm raised and bent, the top of the stick cradled in the crook of his elbow, left hand against his cheek, his head bowed and looking down as if asleep, mounted on a nineteenth century three-coloured square marble base which matches the base of C 897.The bronze figure Italian, 18th century
