St. John, bronze, Italian or Spanish, 17thC
Description
A bronze statuette of St. John in loose flowing robe and cloak engraved with figured pattern of flowers to resemble damask, left arm by his side with hand outstretched, right arm bent with hand touching chest, head raised, standing on a square plinth mounted on a nineteenth century square triple base of red marble. One of a pair with C869 Italian or Spanish, 17th century.
