- Plate, English, COalport, c. 1850. Porcelain decorated with relief moulding, enamel colours and gilding. The plate with wavy rim, deep turquoise blue ground with gilt floral decoration in relief and gilt outside edge; on the inner side of the rim a gilt scroll and dentelle border framing the middle of the plate on which is painted, in enamel colours, a pastoral scene of a young man, a girl playing a bagpipe, a child, two dogs and two lambs.One of a pair with C 301Imitation of Sevres porcelain
