One of Frink’s more violent depictions within the series, this print depicts the moment when the ill-fated Oedipus kills his own father, King Laos. It attests to her conviction that Classical myth was not the calm, well-mannered place it is often made out to be. The image also revisits Frink’s recurrent theme of horses.
