Fan in white box, possibly French, c.1850/60
Description
Fan with silk leaves mounted on bone sticks, probably French c. 1850/60. Moire magenta feather-shaped panels decorated with steel sequins tipped with magenta down,with pierced bones and panaches with studded cut steel. A pattern of engraved circles on the sticks.The fan has its original white box with gold decorated lozenge encircling gold flowers.There is a magenta tassel with steel drops.
