- Fan, English, 1796.Paper leaf mounted on plain wooden sticks, the leaf printed and coloured with "An Allegorical Map of the Track of Youth to the Land of Knowledge, Published June 25th 1796 by John Wallis, No. 16 Ludgate Sreet, London. Entered at Stationers Hall". The centre of the leaf containing the coloured print of imaginary lands and ocean, with descriptions, bordered at the top by laurel swags, to the left the inscribed title enclosed in a shield decorated with laurel bands, and inscribed at the top of the shield, "Engraved by V. Woodthorpe, No 27 Fetter Lane London."at either side printed text explaining the various places on the map, the whole bordered by a pink frame, mounted on plain wooden sticks with brass rivet, the reverse plain.
