Fan and box, English, early nineteenth century.
The fan of plain paper with silver border along the top, mounted on plain cedar sticks, in its original box of red paper-covered card, opening at one end, a label in the centre on which is prianted: "P. JUCHAU, FAN MAKER, No. 73 Fore Street, Finsbury Square. Fans Wholesale, retail and for exportation. N.B. Fans neatly repaired."
