Fan with a box, probably English, ealry to mid 19th century.The leaf composed of separate white silk feather-shaped pieces linked together, painted in bright colours with leaves, flowers and five butterflies, the reverse plain, mounted on bone sticks inset with bright steel dots, the guards also inlaid with steel dots in diamond patterns, mother of pearl rivet head, in a shaped dusty pink cardboard box with yellow base.
