Print of J S Duncan LLD, Late Fellow of New College Oxford - Depicts John Shute Duncan - An English academic, writer and museum curator. He was the Keeper of the Ashmolean Museum and was eventually succeeded by his broker P B Bury as Keeper. In his time as Keeper, the museum saw major changes in the natural history and zoological displays.
The print is based off of a painting of J S Duncan by Thomas Kirby in the collection of the Ashmolean Museum.
